@ USC: still no Alston and Bird even though they said they would be getting back to us pretty quickly.

Has anyone heard yet?

Ucla: I had an interview with Alston and bird on Wednesday last week and got a call the next day. I think their committee meets once a week

No one has mentioned Cox Castle, Winston & Strawn, Bryan Cave, or Pillsbury (all for LA, and I'm at USC).

Thought i had good interviews at all of those firms...maybe they haven't starting calling people back yet.

same. not surprised at all. skadden interviewer had a checklist with what appeared to be three categories for grades. i was middle category + no ties + no law review = no callback.

got an offer from another firm today though, so skadden can suck it.
