I got a snail mail ding from Lane Powell Portland last week. Letter said they have completed hiring (but again, PDX office). So, take that for what it's worth, which is probably very little.

Although this was alluded to earlier, new info. confirms that the Perkins offers are out and waiting on acceptance. Any recent word on Dorsey?

Why does PC pay the summer associates less than 1st year associate pay? I don't want this to devolve into a conversation about whether summers are worth it or not; I'm more curious if other firms also do this. I thought the standard practice was to pay summer associates the same pay as 1st year associates.

I'm not sure about others, but my firm also pays slightly less than 1st year associates make. Not enough to make much of a difference though, <$200/week. Also recently got a post CB dorsey ding for those interested.

I followed up with LP about a week ago and was told that they are finished hiring 2013 SAs. Aside from my own follow up, though, still nothing official. Maybe bad news, but FWIW they may have been just trying to get me to stop bugging them. :?

UW student. Snail mail post-screener ding from Lane Powell today. LP was the last firm I hadn't heard anything from.

Seems like most of the Seattle firms are wrapping up. I have heard (through asking at callbacks and the rumor mill) that offers from several different firms are supposed to go out late this week/next week.

I know for sure that the hiring committee is meeting today (Friday, Sept. 28th). I am not sure what that means - if they have issued any offers yet or what, or if they will send out offers by phone or email today or Monday, or not for a bit longer.
