As in, you were listed as an alternate but then got the interview? Or are you now listed as an alternate for some reason? (Sorry for the dumb question.)Lasers wrote:hm...an alt just got added today.

i was an alternate with no interview scheduled then checked today and now there is one scheduled. i didn't check yesterday though, so it could have happened then.

Just check you have an interview time and a room. I lost mine by not having a room (Symplicity glitch.)Lasers wrote:no, 'twas my bad. i wasn't clear.piccolittle wrote:As in, you were listed as an alternate but then got the interview? Anyone not going to the reception tomorrow and want to meet up for a drink tomorrow evening (or going and want to join later)? Would be great to meet some of you!

I'd meet up with you guys but going to be drinking all day (last day of my firm's summer program) so I'll surely be too drunk.piccolittle wrote:Anyone not going to the reception tomorrow and want to meet up for a drink tomorrow evening (or going and want to join later)? Just left. Ran into so many people I knew (mostly from my school)! Things seemed super busy. How did you guys think it went? Any good stories (besides the elevator situation, but that's less of a story and more of an inevitability)?

What's the etiquette after these screener interviews? Do we need to send a thank you e-mail to the interviewers?

General consensus seems to be don't bother. It almost assuredly won't help and awkward wording and/or typos might hurt you.Anonymous User wrote:What's the etiquette after these screener interviews? Do we need to send a thank you e-mail to the interviewers?

Does anyone know when we'll begin to hear back about callbacks?

The firms I've been to all said a week or two.
Can you specify which firm says within a couple of days?

Latham was one; there were a couple others as well, but I was so out of it towards the end of the day that I lost track of the others.Anonymous User wrote:The firms I've been to all said a week or two.

Judging by last years thread, seems like Latham had their CBs out by Wednesday.

Maybe it's different for career fairs and/or 2L OCI, but all my massmail callbacks have been offered via email.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
