Symplicity, at a T10. Interestingly, I don't think they've ever taken SAs at their NYC office before.

Yeah, the DWT recruiter who came to my campus from the west coast never even mentioned that as an office hiring. Time to find an alum who went there.

They just posted an opening at one of CLS/NYU, so they must not be totally full, just looking for some below-median C/N student who had the bad luck to strike out. Posting mentions DC and "Northern California". I'm interpreting that as SF, although I suppose it could be SV.

Rejected my resume: top 3% @ T30 to C/N transfer. So they're either anti-transfer or they're looking for something special. [That is, special enough that I'm not sure how they think they're going to find it in November]

I haven't heard anything back from them yet. They may be only taking one summer associate, and just sent you a form email since in effect they aren't having a "summer program."

It might be the SV office, I saw a posting for it a month ago and I guess it hasn't been filled

There's usually a handful of openings at biglaw in January, but there probably won't be anything before then.
