Anyone know when Civil's gonna hear back? (Or has anyone who interviewed with Civil heard back?)

Selected as Finalist (ATR)
Haven't checked in a bit so I was honestly surprised after hearing about all the offers last week. I must be an alternate.

I'm guessing there's still no movement from EOIR?

Re: DOJ SLIP
Just checked online and saw "Current Status: Selected as Finalist." I haven't received a phone call or email. I had my interview in early/mid October. It's sort of unclear what it means.

Dinged without interview... T2, low class rank so that's to be expected. Oh well.

What is ATR?Anonymous User wrote:ATR DC. My status changed to finalist on Friday afternoon. On Monday I called my recruitment coordinator, who informed me that I received a first round offer. I still haven't received a call from attorney with offer details.
I'm "Selected as Finalist" for Antitrust DC. Anyone think that's an offer?

Maybe. The one person who said they got an offer got one before my status even changed to "Selected as Finalist". Wonder what the means...Anonymous User wrote:If you haven't heard anything my guess is that we are alternates.Anonymous User wrote:What is ATR?Anonymous User wrote:ATR DC. Selected as finalist for Civil (SLIP) without an interview - does that seem strange to anyone else? I thought Civil did interviews for SLIP. Anyone else had the same thing happen? Any offers for Civil?

Re: DOJ SLIP
Huh! I got an offer from Civil (Fed Programs) about three weeks ago, but it was without being selected as a finalist. I'm still technically "under consideration" on Avue. It might just be a component thing -- maybe Fed programs does interviews but Appellate (or whoever) doesn't.Anonymous User wrote:Selected as finalist for Civil (SLIP) without an interview - does that seem strange to anyone else? If you don't mind me asking, how many interviews did you go through and how were you notified when they made you the offer?Anonymous User wrote:Huh! EOIR "Selected as Finalist." My phone died, so I don't know if I have a call yet. Anyone else?

Re: DOJ SLIP
Also "selected as a finalist" today. Got an email to schedule some kind of pre-employment interview that made sure to tell me that the e-mail wasn't an offer. No idea what to make of all this, but I'll go with it.
Non-EOIR.

I can't wait until class gets out. I'm dying to see if I have a voicemail after I plug in my phone. I'm terrified!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
