MTO email rejection earlier today. Good interview, great grades, not sure where it went wrong. Top choice, too.Anonymous User wrote:Have heard of both interviewers making calls. Think that may be done.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone else heard from MTO? Only one checkmark thus far in the book, and they gave 11 CBs last year, so I'm wondering if there's another wave of calls to go out.Anonymous User wrote:Just got a Munger callback about 15 minutes ago.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear back from Munger yet?

Got the ding email from MWE Chicago a few minutes ago. Not surprised, I've heard they're looking for almost all corporate people this year.

Re: SLS Results
Top firms like WLRK and MTO go beyond great grades for the screener. It's not even really about the interview either. They can afford to look deep into the talent pool for things like top undergrad, prestigious W/E or post-undergrad degrees etc.Anonymous User wrote:

They also look for women and minorities making the competition harder to get a spot as a white guy.

Sidley SF callback. Apparently rumors of callbacks in waves are true? I had already given up hope.
