What about Vinson & Elkins? I have a friend in UT saying that they give CBs very quickly, on the spot or next moring. However I haven't heard from VE yet. Any CB from VE?

Had awesome interviews with Cravath and W&C. Dings from both and complete silence on all other fronts today. Awful feeling.

Wow, I can't believe that interviews that felt like such sure things are likely dings. Almost every interview from my mass mailing campaign was so intuitive. I was able to get such an accurate "feel", and was really able to gauge things and adapt accordingly. Yet everything seems to be for waste here thus far regardless of how well the interview felt. I already have people telling me that transferring was a stupid idea, which isn't really helping me out right now.

guy who got quinn cb without going to dinner, were you invited to dinner, but didn't go, or just didn't even get invited but still got cv?

who are the quinn interviewers getting back? doesn't seem like there has been a flood of them, so hoping my interviewers are just slow with the calls...

Got invite to dinner and did not go (had a conflict). I spoke with them at their hospitality suite and they basically gave the impression that if I didn't show up at the dinner, I was done. I still didn't go, and then got a call today for a callback.

Yet another one that went really well (the interviewer had a similar interest to mine so we had a really fun conversation), but dead silence.

Try not to worry yet; all we know is 2 out of the, what, 10 or so interviewers they had have called, and even they might not have finished calling before the weekend.

All of this anxiety will feel ridiculous in retrospect next summer, or even by the end of the semester.

Same. Although, I've heard that firms tend to conduct the interviews to get a sense of the student's personality and then in terms of callbacks, it will be strictly down to the transcript - which could explain why people felt they clicked with the interviewers, but didn't receive the callbacks.
