Snail mail ding from hogan lovells today. To paraphrase: While we are offering callbacks to nearly everybody, you are one of the few that failed to meet our standards.

If no callback but also no rejection letter/email, does anybody know what are the chances of getting a callback?

I swear DeRosa said we'd know all our callbacks by a week after the interview. But it's always possible that firms are keeping a list of resumes on hand for when the top 10%+LR people have made their decisions and rejected a bunch of offers.

I wouldn't count on it though, odds are it's just a rejection by silence. Ask DeRosa just to be sure.

For those keeping track of these things:

GPA just over median, secondary journal, 7 CBs, one offer so far. FWIW the fairly low number of callbacks is because I bid very aggressively.

Fairly low number of callbacks? Seriously? From median with a secondary journal? There are lots of us with similar credentials with two or fewer callbacks, and I know people without any. Consider yourself lucky.

Sorry, I wasn't intending to be glib or arrogant. Just wanted to indicate that I bid aggressively, which may or may not skew the numbers. And I know I'm lucky. There were reasons why I did better than my stats would indicate but I can't really elaborate without outing myself.
