I think we've already established that NY to 190 means all major markets to 190.

What are the major markets?
Is Chicago a "major market," assuming your firm pays $160K as it is? $190K here would make me do a happy dance

Have you been living under a rock?BaberhamLincoln wrote:Which 1LSA?

ETA: From what I hear, a lot of this is rumor and probably not true (and I don't think we got anyone from the firm/office to confirm here). But if any part of it is accurate, that guy was a wild one.

I know a bunch of people at Latham and all confirmed the basic story of missed flights, upgraded room, cocaine & strippers, but couldn't speak to every little detail. The people did note that he was a good guy and was always offering to get bottle service for people.Capitol_Idea wrote:Have you been living under a rock?BaberhamLincoln wrote:Which 1LSA?

Yeah, I have plenty of friends at Latham that confirmed the story as well. I am surprised Latham got rid of someone based on work product though.

Srs question: what have folks given their secretary as a gift? Associate input has been all over the place.

if you interacted w the secretary a lot it would be nice to get a small gift, but it's not necessary

I haven't given the gift yet, but I'm planning on giving my secretary a Starbucks gift card and flowers.Anonymous User wrote:Srs question: what have folks given their secretary as a gift? Associate input has been all over the place.

Got cakes, pie, and cupcakes for all our secretaries. They really appreciated it and said it is not all that common for SAs to do. So definitely a nice touch.

Do people normally do gifts for recruiting staff?
