Just do it. Can't hurt. I'd email the interviewer and CC recruiting.
i would not

I think it's just different from law school admissions or something like that. I think some places don't let you know anything because they're waiting to see how their first rounds of callbacks go and their yield from those callbacks. In areas outside of law, it's common to wait a long time after interviewing to hear anything.

Just seems impatient to me.

Did people with Willkie cbs get a confirmation email the night before?

I got a confirmation way earlier but it had the dates and times blanked, so I called recruiting to check that I was in the system (didn't pick up). Will keep calling, but if they send out a more detailed confirmation anyway, I won't bother them.

Impatient? There are set timelines on all of this stuff. You aren't applying for one job, you're applying for a dozen jobs all at once with competing timelines and varying levels of interest. If you want to send the email, send the email. It isn't gonna hurt you.

Sending emails to firms you haven't heard back yet to reaffirm interest probably won't hurt. I just sent out a couple this morning, and a callback from Lowenstein followed in the next hour. It probably didn't result from the email, but you never know. NYU EIW is over now, I guess it makes sense to send out emails now.

Had the exact same issue, but my interview isn't for a couple days so I haven't tried calling yet. Let me know if you do get a confirmation email or get a hold of them!

For those who went on CBs with DPW, are you still waiting for offers or did you get a rejection through email etc?

FYI I went on a callback on Wednesday and haven't heard anything since...

Ugh. Just had a rough CB interview. Interviewer decided to explain to me about how to answer questions and how I wasn't doing it right. It was a fairly insulting experience. There's still a chance I could get an offer, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to accept knowing what I know now. On the one hand I'm frustrated, but I'm also happy that I didn't waste a summer to find out the firm culture.

Can't tell, too easily traced back. Might say something to OCS depending on how things go, not that they can do anything. This was my first call back too. I wonder if they'll all be this fun.

For what it's worth, mine have all been pretty pleasant experiences. I think this is definitely an outlier. It seems that in the CBs, you are expected to ask a lot mores questions about the firm, but that's at least in part because they're doing more a job selling it to you than in the screener stage. So you normally wouldn't have very off-putting experiences, but they do happen. I've been on a few CBs, and for the most part they have been really pleasant, but I have gotten a few senior partners who still think their job is just to intimidate you or trip you up on things. Definitely something I remember about the firms that leaves an impression with me.
