You’d think that. But I eagerly signed up for the other site just to find incredibly lackluster content and very few new posts. For good or for bad, the bulk of posters are still on this site.Anonymous User wrote:Also, tho, the people who live online are the ones who contribute and stick around during the non-raise times and generally create the content worth coming to these sites for

Anon 3:03 poster from above. Yeah, I agree with that point, so maybe I was a little harsh there. My point was to highlight the overeager moderation that created a clique or echo chamber of the most regular posters. You can be responsive and online often but not police tone and content as much as they did -- these things aren't mutually exclusive. The reason why they tipped over from being online and helpful a lot into the heavy-handed policing stuff was how much they had invested their very identities into the board, rather than being able to keep it in perspective. But you're right on the basic point.Anonymous User wrote:Also, tho, the people who live online are the ones who contribute and stick around during the non-raise times and generally create the content worth coming to these sites for

To clarify- summers are paid on 190 scale, but I don’t think summers are getting the bonus

Wait, why would Cravath prorate the summer bonus if they don't take laterals? Is this only people who took leave and/or come from clerks? Seems a bit... tickety-tack, no?Anonymous User wrote:We are pleased to announce that the Firm will pay a special bonus andsmokeylarue wrote:Someone please copy paste the memo, this board has anonymous posting for christs sake

Looks like we have two scales out there now.
Cravath Scale matches Milbank scale for the first 3 years, then 4th and 5th years are +$5,000 and 6th year and above associates are +$10,000
