What's the damage so far this summer?

Yep! Congrats. My whole class was offered and I am now finishing up a 3 day bender. Have no idea what to do next.

Congrats on the offers. I can't wait to feel that relief/ sense of accomplishment. 2 more days left with exit interviews Friday. Lots of differing stories on when offers go out. Good luck everyone!

Also exit interviews Friday. They said they're "hoping" they can give offers by then so that we can be celebrating at the closing dinner that night. It's a big firm so I think the hope stems from the fact that decisions have to go through the higher-ups in the HQ office.

Have you all been asked about your practice group preferences? I would've thought they'd want to know that by now since my firm gives offers into specific practice groups, and they're also expected to go out during exit interviews Friday.

I'm thrilled to be in the "already got my offer" camp. But now I have no motivation to finish up my last assignments!

Yes, I got a sheet asking for my practice group preferences. Exit interview this Friday also. Hopefully,I will exit the exit interview (; with an offer. I've heard it can take a couple weeks though.

I don't have an offer yet and I still have no motivation to finish my assignments. Too consumed with whether my career could be ruined in two days.

They've probably made up their minds by this point, so unless you shit on the assigning attorney's desk I doubt assignments you turn in now will have a significant impact.

That's true. My point is that I'm paralyzed by fear, hence the lack of motivation.

(Slightly exaggerating here)

Same. Even though my firm is close to 100%, I still have the fear that I won't get offered and will be ruined.

Lol why's everyone so worried. If you're at a 100% offer firm you would've known by now if there were no-offer warnings. I think I'm done with all my assignments so looking forward to chilling the next two days and getting an offer tomorrow hopefully.

This is my life

Contemplating whether there's somewhere close by that I could take my laptop and sit in a dark corner and have a beer and my own little celebration without firm people seeing me lol. But still close enough just in case i need to come back to my desk.

Your fear is shared. Exit interview tomorrow but typically they do the give out offers here until late after the program is complete. Too bad, it's not an end of the summer if they already it'll be 100%. Making us wait in that situation seems pointless.

looooool why the fuck would you suit up for a 5 minute "congrats on not completely fucking up for 10 weeks" review? Even if you did, you have a suit hanging in your office, right?

I'm sure the attorney giving the review will dress up because it's a big occasion for them.

Also on team won't-know-until-after-the-program. Firm is usually 100% offer and associates have told me that the no-offers are pretty egregious, but not knowing is still going to have me on pins and needles.

Y'all need to chill the fuck out. I am at a firm that is not 100% offer, but generally everyone gets one and as we have been told a million times, the offer is yours to lose. As no one has said anything that could be construed as an indicator that I am not getting an offer, I am straight chillin. At this point, I know that my chances of not getting an offer are lower than the chances I die in a car wreck on my way home from work today. Sounds like a lot of you are in the same situation. So please, for the love of god, relax and enjoy the last two days of getting paid obscene amounts of money to do jack shit.
