Best ten weeks of my life. I can't believe they're going to pay me to go to free lunches, work 9:30-5ish, and go to fun evening events as a career!

Haven't gotten an assignment in a few days even though my department seems to be pretty busy...bad sign?

Oh God I just want an offer. Tomorrow is apparently the day where they let the no-offers/cold-offers know their fate and then escort them out of the building. Everyone else gets a end-of-the-summer party.

It really, really isn't flame. Two people got hit with this last year apparently. One showed up drunk to work and another got on the wrong side of a partner. But still, terrifying.

Yea but making day of decisions while blatantly offering others seems unrealistic. You think they'd at least give a "we'll get back to you within the next few weeks" shpeal at the exit interview and then quietly reject those people by snail mail weeks later.

Yea I haven't heard of any place at all giving last-day offers, it's always later

Plus is everyone in the summer class leaving on the same day

edit: also, why would that happen on a Wednesday

My firm says they'll let us know within three weeks of last day

Are most of you like that or day of?

No, some places give offers before the last day. Never heard of someone getting escorted out, though.

Apparently offers at my firm go out before the end of the summer. Traditional 100% firm and haven't heard stories of people being escorted out if they didn't get one.

Showed up drunk to work? Ha wtf is that supposed to mean. At least twice a week here the associates make an impromptu drinking office and we kill multiple bottles by 4pm.

I heard it takes a coke n whore orgy to get no-offered there, if the stories are true.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
