Only spring 2020? Then c/o 2023 never had a single semester of p/f? Cuz they entered fall 2020 right

I've heard the cutoffs are ~3.93-95 for summa, which is discretionary and subject to analysis of the student's strength of schedule; ~3.75-80 for magna; ~3.58-60 for cum laude; and ~3.85 for coif.

are you sure? that seems way too low, especially for cum. last year people were at like 3.83 and didn't even get magna. just wondering, where did you get this from?

Mods?
Probably so people can post anon, b/c if they couldn't, no one would post on this topic.

Cutoff for 2023 was like 3.83 for magna and 3.85 for coif. C/o 2023 didn't have a single semester of pass/fail right? So we should think this years cutoffs will be similar to last years

Anyone have predictions for honors cutoffs? Seems like 3.86-3.87 was the coif cutoff and 3.84 was the magna cutoff for last year. Should it be higher or lower this year?

During 2020-21 c/o 2023 was in 1L with mandatory curves so this doesn't make sense. I would expect our class to be around the same as last year.

More covid grade inflation during 2L-3L. Big classes had higher curves, and school cracked down on some all-A classes this year. Still roughly the same, maybe.

Well the PR class getting changed must legitimately have some impact, no? The problem is that with no transparency we don't actually know. I don't understand why they insist on this shit, especially now that OCI is being annihilated for pre-screen PEP... employers will already transcript filter.

The change in the PR curve will definitely have an increase with respect to cutoffs. It's a mandatory class and used to be a free-for-all in the days of the Ashton-Winokur class that c/o 2023 took. Now, it's the same deal as the 1L classes.
