Is it normal to receive a request for undergrad transcripts? Anyone else have this happen?

Any opinions on the "Who else are you interviewing with?" callback question? Wondering if it's just an interviewer's way of feeling better about an impending ding or their way of sizing someone up.

I hate the question, but I think it's just curiosity, especially if you're asked by a recruiter or an associate. I know that I received that question a few times during callbacks and it was typically the lead-in to a pissing contest. For instance, when I told one of my S&C interviewers that I was also looking at its peers, I got a spiel about how S&C is the best at everything, etc.Anonymous User wrote:Any opinions on the "Who else are you interviewing with?" callback question? If you haven't heard anything about who you're going to be interviewing with for a CB, is it alright to reach out and ask them? Wasn't sure because I know some firms actually don't let you know. But it's tomorrow and I'm getting kinda antsy...

Cozen (PHL) callback interview today. Finishing their callbacks Monday. Offers mid-next week, something tells me maybe calls tomorrow (Friday). Anyone with anymore info? Good luck

Re: Penn OCI 2016 (C/O 2018)
Would be super grateful if someone could advise about the etiquette of canceling callbacks. My situation recently changed today after receiving an offer I'm very excited about. I have some callbacks set up for next week, as early as Monday, that I know I wouldn't take an offer from over the most recent one. I've read in some other threads that it's not that big of a deal to cancel, but... Monday... and then the host firm of the trip is later in the week, so if I go on Monday I feel like I can't really cancel with the firm that arranged the travel?
Also, travel's already booked and it's too soon for them to get a refund.
Uh, help?

Re: Penn OCI 2016 (C/O 2018)
Hi there! I was in a similar situation, and CP&P recommended that I cancel any callback that I wouldn't realistically accept an offer from. It seems they would rather me notify them politely of a cancellation rather than waste attorney time on a candidate who wouldn't accept an offer. However, this might not necessarily apply if the callback you're trying to cancel is your NALP host firm--then maybe you should go ahead and do itAnonymous User wrote:Would be super grateful if someone could advise about the etiquette of canceling callbacks.
