That was friday, and it's the end of the day monday now. I'm probably just freaking out for no reason but I thought for sure they would hit me up today with a callback.

Anyway, my school sent out journal decisions today, and I was wondering how long I should wait before I send them a "journal update/omg why haven't you got back to me yet?" email?

Similar to the question above ^^^ I had a screener with a firm last week and I thought it went pretty well. My school just released journal results and I am wondering if its worth it to reach out to them and let them know I made one. Its not LR but its a solid journal in an area I am interested in. If so, do you think I should sent it to the recruiters or to my screener interviewer?

Thanks!!

^^^Did you ask the recruiter when to expect a response? If so, I would wait til that day. If you didn't ask that, then I'd probably just wait. Unless you're going to update them to say you got LR/main journal, I'd probably just sit tight. Poking the recruiter probably won't hurt (probably), but unless you're writing to say that your credentials are now substantially stronger (i.e., LR), it's almost certainly not gonna help.

I'm still waiting after a cb last week, so I feel your pain. Keep your chin up.

Would that advice change if my whole platform was "I'm really interested in international law" in a firm that was very excited about me because of my international experience and I got onto the international law journal?

Either way I think I'll wait till atleast a week has passed.

I have interviewed several pre-OCI interviewees already at my V15. They were all referrals, which basically got them over the screener, feel free to PM me for details.

Did anyone else get the email from Weil a few weeks ago about scheduling callbacks for mid-August? Interesting that they seem to be combining these CBs (for people who interviewed for 1L) with the normal ones this year.

Every callback to offer for me has been less than a week.

Stop stressing about the length between callback and offer. Committees meet weekly, sometimes bi-weekly. If you came in the day before the meeting and your evaluations are in on time, you might get an offer the next day. If you came in the day of the meeting, congratulations, you're waiting at least a week to hear back. Chill. The. Fuck. Out.

Pre-OCI interviews should be fun.

Replies to thank you emails for CB entailing: "enjoy 2L" and "thanks for meeting before OCI"

No offer?

Those responses are par for the course. Offers don't come via email and your interviewers won't know you got an offer right away unless they were actually in the hiring meeting, which they probably weren't. Chill.
