Nothing yet. I had my second round last week and they said final round interview invites would go out mid-Nov.

They are form questions, my interviewer was literally reading off of a script. Before we even started, she told me there would be 20 questions. One of the more intense interviews I've done, probably just based on the sheer amount of questions they asked. They were almost all situational based, such as tell me about a time when you've had a conflict with someone (that was not one of the actual questions, just an example). Interviewed with them Monday Nov. 2nd and they've already called my references.

Anyone that interviewed with HUD, can you share whether the questions were difficult? Did they focus on past experience or general interview questions?

Southeast or southwest? I received interview request 2 weeks ago from Southwest region, had interview on Monday.

Have any of the HUD call backs been from the southern region? I'm wondering if they may be on a different time line- keeping my fingers crossed that this is the case.

Yeah usually agencies have guidance which includes a list of questions and then the interviewer gets to pick which they like best.

I can't totally tell if this is directed toward me(?); but in case it is, I can tell you that I received my offer last year in early December right in the middle of finals week.

(I'm a HUD person, for those of you who don't know. Slow day at work. Hope everyone's interviews are going well.)

For interviews or offers? If the former, DOL interviews as they get apps. I interviewed second week of October last year... Not long after I submitted my app.

Anyone know when HUD interviews end? I heard that they do all their interviews within a fixed period, but I wasn't sure if the period is over or not.

HUD applicants/interviewees: are you willing to share your stats? I'm trying to gauge what sort of people they're looking at. I'm top 20% at a T50, extensive civil rights law experience, housing law experience from 2L pathways job with fed. agency in DC (not HUD). My references were called 2-3 days after my interview.

T6, top 33%, two summers in federal agencies (not HUD).
