For posterity's sake and for 0/1Ls reading: do the NY event. Worth it 100% if you have at least a handful of interviews and are even marginally inclined to do work there

Definitely agree. If you want to do biglaw, you need to do this fair. Even if you are 90% sure you don't want NYC, the confidence/practice for OCI alone make it worthwhile.

Where are you getting this info? I don't have a DPW CB, but I've seen wildly varying info for other firms.

Yeah I'd love to know callback/offer ratios for some of my CBs. Wonder if CSO has any info, doubtful.

TLS search.....they have a very low CB:Offer ratio. on the other hand, S&C is supposed to have a very high CB:offer ratio. however this info comes from T6 students so im not sure how applicable it is to UT.... maybe we get a Texas boost?

Hoping we hear one or the other today on some firms. I have one CB that I need to schedule, and if I get another, I would love to schedule it all in one trip before OCI kicks off.

just got a PW ding.

I have now heard from 9/16 that I interviewed with. Still outstanding for me are cravath, skadden, Bracewell, S&C, Cleary, milbank, K&S.

I know some of those are already dings, but still good info to aggregate I suppose.

I assume that everyone has yet to hear from Allen & Overy? Although I know there were just a few of us interviewing.

How late do y'all think we can schedule callbacks? like, time is quickly running out...what would be the result if you scheduled a callback for like, the wednesday after the last day of oci?

Not ideal but I think it will still be early enough to not be a huge disadvantage.

Protip for those doing NY callbacks: the firms that use lawyerstravel.com are maybe the ones you want as lead travel firms. The person who contacted me via Debevoise as their travel rep was amazing and flexible about changes when they totally didn't have to be.
