I know it's kind of early to really tell, but how are we feeling as a class?

I feel alright so far, but without any offers in hand yet it's hard to say.

Not feeling great about it honestly. It was both emotionally draining and time consuming. I also don't think I was prepared for this many rejections with my grades and work/life experience. I'm still hoping to hear something, but if it's taken this long then I realize my chances are shrinking. I know I'll find a job eventually, it just would have been so much more convenient for this OCI to work for me, which it really hasn't.

From what I can tell, most of the top 1/3 are doing well securing job offers. Unfortunately that does not include me.

Pretty much same as you, except my 1 open CB is from mass mailing a smaller market. OCI was a total bloodbath for me.

Yeah it seems some firms are being a lot more grade selective than they let on, for whatever reason.

Hey all,

Good luck with getting offers and keep your heads up. Last year, I got 3-4 callbacks in the 2-3 weeks after school started, so dont lose hope yet (though start mailing if you havent already).

As to the grade selectivity, the numbers CSO gives out on the bidding sheet are mostly BS IMO. I know that the firm I worked for this summer had a listed cut off of "3.5 preferred" while there was really a hard floor at 3.6 unless there was some outside reason the interviewer could bring to bear and convince recruiting/the committee. So, as always, take anything CSO published with a grain of salt.

I hope you all get something. Please feel free to PM me with any specific questions. I know the most about southern markets, but I will do my best to help everyone.
