I'm local, so just the fax!

I sent in my form around noon central time yesterday. Hope I hear something soon. I had to block out a fair number of days because of clerkship obligations.

To the anonymous poster who got an email today: when did you fax your form in? I faxed mine Monday afternoon and still no word.

Same here. I have to imagine it varies somewhat, whether by component or by location.

I'm the poster who got the email today. I faxed my travel survey in around noon on Monday and got my itinerary today. Still haven't received any fax regarding my actual interview, though I know others have.

FWIW, there's a new Community post by Deana Willis providing an update on scheduling/travel.

As per Ms. Willis' post, should those of us with a flight itinerary for the last week of interviews just expect to get the actual time of the interview in a few weeks?

Did anyone else give a different receiving fax number than the fax machine they sent it from? I sent it out from the school fax, but gave my home fax number to receive faxes.

Yes. I sent mine from hellofax.com, but I had the interview info sent to my work fax. No issues.

Also, I'm interviewing in the last week and know my exact interview date/time.

Also waiting for my fax back.... (I faxed my schedule yesterday morning)

Anyone know anything about staying overnight in hotels? Anyone else have overnight itinerary?

It looks like they booked three of my interviews three days in a row, so I will be staying overnight in two different cities. The itinerary had my flight numbers, but no hotel info.

You book your own hotels, and they'll reimburse you up to the amount of the govt per diem (that is, there's a cap, but it's plenty to get you something reasonable. Just not the Ritz). I think it's in the interview info under overnight stays?

I am. I have four interviews, though, in some disparate locations. I'm guessing that's part of the hold up.

I faxed on Tuesday; no response. I have one interview with EOIR. On my travel survey I gave no restrictions. My theory, at least what I tell myself to not stress over it all day, is that they figure out people with restrictions first and then plug in the rest because they are more flexible. Anyone else with EOIR interview with no date restrictions hear back?

Anyone else get an EOIR interview in Miami? I wasn't aware they were doing interviews there. Did something change?

Per Ms. Willis:

This message is only for HP candidates interviewing ONLY with EOIR, OCIJ.

We have added three additional interview locations: Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco. If it is less costly to the government, you may be scheduled for one of these locations

Can anyone shed light on what an AUSA interview is like?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
