No idea where you got that- Law Review doesn't have any policy to that effect, it's just how it's always been, as far as I know.

Resume-tweaking question for AJF. First semester I had median/slightly above median-ish grades, whereas second semester I ended up right at the cusp of top 10%. Should I list cumulative GPA and spring GPA on my resume to show the big uptick/would this help at all with firms where I'm near or slightly below their average CB?

Don't they receive our transcripts? I wouldn't bother listing it on resume (I'm not), but it could be useful to mention it in an interview if it comes up organically.

Current 3L here. Yes, every firm will require you to bring a copy of your transcript to your screener (CSO will discuss what papers to bring with you to AJF soon) and I have never heard of anyone listing their GPA the way you have described. They will be able to see your improvement based on your transcript - and remember the averages are AVERAGES because the firm has given callbacks to people with lower GPAs . . .if you are close you should be concentrating on killing the interview, not on making your grades "look" better.

I'm relatively happy with firms I got, though honestly expected to get more screeners. When talking to the person form career services she said 18-21 screeners was the norm bidding on 12-15 firms each day, and I got 15 (6, 6, 3) bidding on virtually all of them. Did I get bad luck, or was that misinformation?

Sounds like misinformation. You can just look at the poll and tell. Maybe if you bidding mostly secondary markets, you could expect 18-20.

I only got 13 so be happy, lol.

not 18-21. 12-15 is the right number as you will see reflected here.

Without outing myself, I can almost guarantee it's not alphabetical since I got a call before above anon posted calls were going out.

traditionally tomorrow.

edit: that is, traditionally secondaries come out the day after LR.

fair enough. based on the time now and how late in the game journal decisions were released i'd say tomorrow is a fair bet. could be wrong tho
