This varies by market. NYC callbacks are usually very quick, sometimes even the same day. Smaller markets are generally slower. Also, you really don't need to schedule callbacks immediately. I wouldn't wait too long, but if you're fortunate enough to get several callbacks then waiting might make your life a lot easier because you can schedule several in the same city at once.

ETA: You should confirm that you've received the callback within a day. If you plan to accept you should probably tell them as much, and just tell them you need a few days to work out your schedule (and I would guess that there are maybe 0-2 people at Wash U that will get too many callbacks to take all of them, so I would plan to accept every callback you get at least until you get an offer).

And they had no interest in me. Coffee heals all wounds.

Also Taft is out, and not selected at V&E

ETA: Kirkland is in. Didn't realize they were the same day as Houston. Wonder what the chance are I could do really early Houston interviews and be back in time for kirkland... (Assuming I get any there)

I think they've posted all the interviews that they've gotten so far. I don't have any pending invites. Missing a bunch of firms still, including several major STL firms.

ETA: or maybe not. Just got "not selected" at Dinsmore.

From scanning this thread, these are the firms no one has heard either way from (or have a "pending" invitaiton). If this isn't accurate, please update.

Wonder when they're going to start posting TX and Boston.

Also, sounds like I only got two STL firms plus maybe Bryan Cave. Maybe they're being particularly harsh on out of towners this year, or maybe I didn't talk enough about my undying love for provel "cheese" in my cover letters.

Been here since 2012 and I really do like it here, but good luck convincing a firm of that. Oh well. I guess it's better they didn't waste my time if they were just going to dismiss me as a flight risk regardless.

ETA: not selected at TC (as I thought)

It's funny, I did alright in places where I really DONT want to be and have literally zero ties (eg Indy and KY), but then maybe that's because other people don't want to be there and didn't apply. Not sure how those interviews are going to go.

I got dinged by one firm via OCI, only to be invited to meet with a couple of partners next week by their recruiter two hours later. WTF?
