People who have been getting callbacks- have you sent out thank you emails to screeners? If so- night of, or next morning?

I did at most (if I got a good vibe from the screener). Sent them that night.

I've gotten a sizable number of callbacks without sending a single thank you. Your experience may vary, but I've been doing very well without them.

Paul Weiss made CBs. Not sure on Shearman, Baker Botts, or Clifford.

Hah, SAME. I just did that. Just logged on to make sure all my stuff was straight and good to go. Freaking dead silence from over 10 places.

Do you two have your snail mail coming to D.C.? Many firms send dings that way... e-mail seems to be less frequent.

I've even gotten callback invitations through the mail (Ropes... those clowns), so they might not even all be bad.
