Does anyone know when we hear from Antitrust? I think interviews are completed but don't know how long it takes for decisions to go out...

Based on what they told me during the interview the first decisions will be made towards the middle of next week. If you are still under consideration they will have called your references.

Thanks for info- just to clarify, you mean around the 19th not the 26th right? Also, do you know if they only check references for certain applicants advancing beyond "further consideration"?

Yes, the week of the 24th.

Edit: I've struck speculation, albeit from a reliable source.

The absolute earliest any of us are supposed to hear is next week, around Wednesday.

Is that for all the SLIP components or just Antitrust?

This is just Antitrust. Some components are still doing phone/in-person/CB interviews (my CB is next week) and some that don't conduct interviews may already be done (though I'm less sure about this). I have no idea which of these categories EOIR would fall into.

"Selected as finalist." Does anyone know exactly what this means?

Congratulations! From what people said in the threads about last year, it depends on the component. For some that means you have the job. Which component?

Two questions:

1. how can you tell which office selected you as a finalist?

2. Do the field offices make decisions independently? That is, can you potentially get offers from two of the offices?

(This is all for ATR.)

Thanks!

To those who have been selected as finalists, are you receiving emails or are you learning by checking Avue?

Checked Avue last night, and phone call this morning from ATR DC. I think selections/notifications are ongoing, though, especially for the field offices.

ATR DC. My status changed to finalist on Friday afternoon. On Monday I called my recruitment coordinator, who informed me that I received a first round offer. I still haven't received a call from attorney with offer details.

What does 'first-round' offer mean? They make offers in waves?

Sorry to hear that. Were you previously selected for further consideration with any components?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
