Feel free to let me know or PM me. Best of Luck to all of you who were organized enough not to miss the deadline like fools.
i registered and won't be going, maybe i can just change all my contact info to urs, basically giving u my spot. well either way it's kinda hard to PM u when u post anon.
I would not advise this.

While the camaraderie is nice, Loyola will probably flip if they find out; they won't want PLIP devolving into a system where people buy multiple identities and game the system.

Have you tried begging them to get in? The bidding is still open it is worth a shot.

Literally 2 hours after the deadline i contacted my schools LPIP coordinator who told me that LPIP is incredibly strict wiht their deadlines and would make no exceptions. Maybe I should just call Loyola directly tomorrow

This is the content of the e-mail they recently sent out about the extended bidding deadline until Sunday is in the sentence below. You should call AND e-mail, and you might still be too late, the new bidding deadline is Sunday.

"The coordinator of the Patent Program will be out of the office from Wednesday, May 4th through Friday, May 6th but will be available to answer questions via email until the end of the day on Friday."

When will we know for sure that we've been given interviews? I've gotten some e-mails from the firms asking me to fill out online applications, but when do we know for sure that we've got em?

These emails have been annoying. I guess it's just too much trouble for them to read our resumes as we've prepared them, like almost all other firms do. Has anyone just ignored such requests for more "voluntary" info and still got an interview from these firms?

I was wondering if we should fill out the online applications now, or wait until after 2nd semester grades come in to have a full transcript.

I've only had one e-mail, asking for the "voluntary" information, I am ignoring it.

I ignored all the emails asking for voluntary information, and it didn't affect my interview prospects (as in, I got interviews at most of the places)

I've only gotten one of these emails from one firm (Foley)?

Certainly not the result of pre-screening at this stage, right?

When do we get our interview schedule? Do the interviews trickle in or does Loyola just give you a schedule when it's all set?

(I'm sure this is written somewhere, but I can't find it.)

Outstanding. Ty.

I realize that they ask for you to bring transcripts to the interview (which will obviously reflect your spring grades), but if your grades are posted prior to the interview decisions is there any way to update your profile / notify the firms?

Someone asked something close to this earlier, but I'm specifically talking about trying to get more interviews.

Does the fact that some firms say "preselect" and "Alternate (1)" instead of pending mean anything?

I'll bet it means those firms have made at least some selections and submitted them already... I've got a few preselects listed as well. *claps hands in glee*

Fucking needed that this week - good catch, DF.

I was checking to see if I bid on other offices of that mail in interview they emailed us about.

Yeah, it's definitely legit. One firm has evidently "not invited" me. I can live with a ding from them, especially compared to the others that have decided so far :?

Very fortuitous, then

Yea I got a ding too.

I really don't like this. This means a slow painful deathmarch instead of a bandaid.

OK- talked to a 3L. He says that these aren't final yet. They will move around a bit, but preselects prob won't move around much. The dings and alts might.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
