No no no, you misunderstand. Of course I know some don't do Pros, and of course you can figure out if a particular office does one or the other by looking at the website. That is simple. I am talking about the offices where they do both and hire both. I would be curious to see which is more in demand at each firm this year.dood wrote:broski, y didnt/dont u just ask ur interviewer? just call him/her up. and its not necessarily firms. its offices that differ in the case of big boutiques. and most big shops dont do pros at all.
And what are you, insane? Why in hell would you call your interviewer up to ask that? Seems foolish. I highly doubt any firm would willingly divulge their hiring practices.

Is anyone still waiting to hear back from the vast majority of firms they interviewed with? I have a bad feeling about this...

Interviewed with 18, heard back from 6. 3 dings, 3 callbacks. So I still have 12 more to hear from.Anonymous User wrote:Is anyone still waiting to hear back from the vast majority of firms they interviewed with? I have a bad feeling about this...

Irvine, it seems like the recruiting manager in the Irvine office is also responsible for scheduling cb's in other offices (at least SF). I could be wrong tho.Anonymous User wrote:for which office?Anonymous User wrote:knobbe martens callbacks are going out (phone call).

Re: loyola patent law fair
did plip and sfipla; maybe 30 interviews overall
callbacks @ kirkland, jones day, morgan lewis, baker botts, townsend, orrick, cooley, knobbe, goodwin procter
dings @ skadden, paul weiss, crowell
waiting on rest
for what its worth for next year's candidates:
tier 1 law school, tech background, above median grades
