My main quarrel with Mr. Clark is that after he puts himself out there that he's now crying defamation! Quoting someone is not defamation, but I guess that's not how they teach con law at the no-LSAT required TTTTT that Clark attends.

Why do they take it down? Does broheim file DMCA requests? If so, why not counter-notice?

From xtranormal:
Hello, I received a second complaint. Please stop using Xtranormal to fuel your feud. Make peace not war. I can't keep deleting movie all day. I am alone at customer service. I can deactivate your account but I know you can make another one and it would be a shame because you're good at making movies. Thanks :)Best regards,Michel Brochu

There was a man on the phone calling about an ad placed on Craigslist. I explained that I had not placed an ad, and that he must have the wrong number. Shortly thereafter, my phone began to — in the parlance of our times — “blow up.” As soon as I hung up, the phone began ringing again with another unknown number. I picked up and immediately got the beep indicating call waiting. Texts messages started pouring in.

Anybody remember that episode of South Park where Cartman makes a kid eat his parents?
I think this could end similarly.

I think more than anything, her post is just stressing the importance of controlling personal information.
Also, people on Craigslist are creepy.

He's suing for defamation, and yet harasses one blogger and apparently blackmails another? I don't know much about these types of laws, but isn't this harassment of some sort? He essentially blackmailed the one guy and then posted this girl's personal information while posing as her. That seems possibly illegal to me.mah2012 wrote:He's suing for defamation, and yet harasses one blogger and apparently blackmails another? It seems as though it should be, but I know cyber laws (or the lack thereof) regarding possible harassment or slander are generally sketchy at best. It may or may not actually be considered harassment or illegal. Either way, this guy is going down a slippery slope, and if he doesn't chill out he may get himself into some definitely illegal trouble. He's suing for defamation, and yet harasses one blogger and apparently blackmails another?
