i'm with you, no offers yet.Anonymous User wrote:Who still has no offer other than me
on a related note, i have had callbacks with cali offices as backup even though i prefer new york. anyone know if it's possible to do your summer at a cali office and ask to be transferred to new york after getting a 1st-year-offer?

Re: Columbia EIP 2016
I hope it works out for you anon. For next year's readers, if you honestly prefer the NY market, then don't use any bids on California or any other market. Not only are those markets notoriously selective based on geographic ties, but you also just miss out on chances to screen with solid NY based firms.
That said, OP above, it's not too late to mass mail NY firms that you didn't bid on or that you bid on but didn't get a screener with. 2L summer hiring season still lasts for a few more moths, and I know if you hustle you can get a NY firm which it sounds like you want.

yes, it's possible. after you get your CA offer, you can usually split between two offices as well. feel free to PM me the firms once you have the offers and I can tell you whether I've heard of a split or not.Anonymous User wrote:i'm with you, no offers yet.Anonymous User wrote:Who still has no offer other than me
