This implies that you received a callback without OCI. Is this for real? If so, I need to know more about what you've been doing to apply.
Nothing special. Just mass mailing. I can't take credit for the Latham screener. I got that mainly because there was someone at the firm willing to put in a good word for me.

I did get some good interviews in D.C. because I was going to be in the area and reached out to every firm that I had mass mailed and told them that I'd be there and was willing to interview.

Ironically enough, my school's OCI was last week and I haven't gotten a single CB yet from the screeners I had.

Has anyone heard from Jones Day (NY) this week? My CB was Monday... so I imagine no news is not good news.

I didn't interview with Jones Day, but it's totally possible that their hiring committee has not yet met this week, or met tonight and the emails / calls are going out tomorrow. I'd give it until end of day Monday to stop hoping for good news!

Is it a good idea to send a partner who I had a callback with a letter of continued interest if I haven't heard back or will it just turn him off

Don't do that. Will not help at all. If they want you, you will get an offer.

Have a McKool callback on deck this upcoming week, anything I should know going in? Just the usual CB format?

It wouldn't surprise me if they generally take a bit longer to reach decisions, given the small office size.

Everyone was nice except for my first interviewer (H.E.). She was very brusque. Normal format.

Just received my last few dings. Last one was Jones Day.

21 interviews, all rejections, no callbacks, no employment prospects. What a fun way to spend three weeks.

Not a Columbia student, but I interviewed Tuesday and saw a lot of Columbia students interviewing that day as well. I'm assuming since I didn't hear anything, I'm not getting an offer, but just to hold on to hope I'll ask: any of the Tuesday Columbia students get offers?
