Sort of, except SPDTC and EJW funded placement in actual PD offices. Of course, that funding has since been pulled.

The PD corps run by them does not have funding anymore and the outlook for getting funding looks grim. :(

Sorry that sucks. I heard that Contra Costa received many more applications this year than they had previously. They are even changing their hiring process, and now having multiple interviews instead of just one, like they use to do. I know a lot of very qualified people that didn't get an interview either.

I'm sorry! :( I know NH will be doing its second rounds all on one day, and I know that folks have heard back from OCI. That said, I don't know if folks have heard back from EJW.

San Diego (county) second rounds are not out yet. They are just accepting applications now, and the application deadline is not until March.

Contra Costa is still doing first round interviews, and applicants will not know about second round interviews (according to Robin Lipetzky) until January.

Anyone heard from the Defenders Assoc. of Philadelphia (post-grad)? Sent my app in August, got the "we are in receipt of your application" e-mail in October, and silence since then. The e-mail said that interview determinations would be made by early December and "you will be notified by December 31, 2012." I guess if "early December" is anytime before 12/15/12 then there's plenty of time...

These bios make it kinda hard to figure out what they're looking for. Just looks like you needed to be PD track in law school and then score a prestigious office work there for a couple of years and come back and do prettyman.
