I'm on hold too, but I'm not even thinking about it. I don't know why everyone is making such a fuss at this point lol, none of us are getting in. I just keep looking at all the cool Chicago stuff and how bad ass our professors are.

Is getting a second interview via skype generally a good thing or does it mean you are on the edge?

It seems to be quite common (from various PMs I've been getting). I'd take it as a good thing.

The most desirable candidates get in based off of their first interview only. A large group of candidates that are considered desirable but are "on the cusp" usually get skyped or a random series of phone calls. Getting a second interview is not as good as getting in, but it means you are definitely one of their top choices. SEO is pretty picky, I would be happy that they requested a second interview. Hey anything is better then a NO...

Sure, Berkeley. They don't require a monetary deposit though. I did tentatively commit to Berk, unless by some miracle Harvard or Yale says yes. I explained all of this to SEO in a letter that I faxed over.

Thanks, I'm not too bummed. I might spend it teaching. It's something I have always wanted to try, but have never had the time to do. I've gotta try all the random things I want to do before law school.
