Does anybody have a CB with DPW or PW? I have a CB set up with a V15 and a V5. I am interested in those two as well, but have heard radio silence from recruiting.

Debevoise asked me what practice I was interested in and when I told them lit they said to bid them at OCI lol

This scares me. I'm saying I'm interested in lit in all my cover letters. Am I fucking myself over? I like the idea of doing lit, but I like the idea of finding a job even more. It seems like every firm is looking for corp/transactional. I've seen a few postings on my school's job board specifically looking for people with an interest in corporate/transactional.

also, is there a proper way to follow up on an application at this stage? I sent one to a firm I really like that Ive networked with, attended all their events, etc. and I’m above their GPA range. Tons of cbs have gone out from there and I’m a bit disappointed I haven’t gotten one

Yes DPW is moving on NYC callbacks. Started at least last week

Know of someone who got asked to do a callback last week. They reached out and wanted to do it the next day. No word from this person on result yet

If you go back a couple pages there are some posts that some DC firms might be talking to high grade T3/T6 applicants. Fwiw I'm top 10% at low T14 and have had zero responses to my DC applications.

cool cool I'm probably top 30% at a mid t14 and my best friend is top 10% and neither of us have heard anything either. lol sad *insert crickets emoji*

I have a similar situation and my mentor said to reach back out in about a week if I haven't gotten any sort of email asking to schedule the callback

ah sh*t im top 5% at UVA and sent in a bunch of DC apps as soon as we got grades 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything...boo

I've had a total of 10 interviews (2 callbacks 1 screener) and almost all have been conversational about my resume, how law school is going, etc. No real behavior Qs except for a couple
