Same here. Probably they are not doing 3L recruiting.

OG anon, about 3 weeks after callback
What was your timeline from screener to callback? Thanks!

They for sure had 3L listings on simplicity last month. Which group did you interview with?

Anything from Milbank? It seems like they've had entry-level postings on their website for a little over a month now.

Original person who asked this but I've now completed a few of the callbacks. Biggest differences were that the firms aren't really sure when they'll make decisions by, they will frequently ask why you aren't returning to your summer firm (and probably why you weren't at a firm if you worked elsewhere), specific practice group interests will come up almost certainly. Outside of that, very similar to 2L callbacks. Also, firms tend to not hold open more than 1 offer for a position they are trying to fill from what I heard.

No problem and best of luck! Looking forward to being done with this whole process. Definitely prepare for a wider variety of "why" questions than 2L year. Why this firm, why not your old firm, why this city, why not your old city, why this practice group, why not litigation (if you have a bunch of lit experiences on your resume). Fit ia still heavily emphasized, if not moreso because they don't have a summer to vet you for fit.

Thanks again. How long have you been waiting to hear from your cbs? And are you interviewing in NYC or other markets?

Non-NYC tertiary markets, just did the callbacks so no expectation of movement by any means yet

Different anon, but MM’d a few weeks ago and heard nothing. Have you guys done a callback and are just waiting or still waiting for a screener?

I believe myself and at least 1 other person on here received phone calls gauging our interest in certain practice groups.

What was your timeline from screener to callback? Thanks!

For those dinged at STB, were you interviewing for the PA office? I interviewed there last week but haven’t heard yet. Getting very anxious.

Someone at my T14 school received a screener several days ago for a certain specific practice group.

Any idea on when they sent in their app, and/or their stats (GPA range, 2L summer at big firm, offer/no offer, etc)?
