Some of the AmLaw 100 firms here in Dallas have already extended offers. From what I know, most of these have gone out to people that interviewed during 1L OCI and either chose to go to other firms or there wasn't room in the 1L program but the firm still wants to pursue them. There will likely be more movement starting middle of next week, as that is when my firm will be extending returning offers to our 1L SA's - once they know whether people will be coming back, they will probably start extending offers to new folks.

I just don't get why they haven't made a decision. Waiting on callbacks is literally torture (also haven't heard from one before for almost 2 weeks now)

I have a callback tomorrow with my dream firm. Would it be inappropriate to tell them that they are my first choice and I would be willing to accept an offer on the spot? Do you think this would make them more inclined to extend an offer?

That's not how any of this works. Chances are the person you're interviewing with isn't even on the hiring committee. They certainly don't have unilateral ability to hire you on the spot.

CB interviewed with Wilson Sonsini (Palo Alto) on July 11. Haven't heard anything. Did anybody know their turnaround for an offer or rejection? Thank you!

I did a few interviews in Houston last week and got an offer 2 days later. The firm I was offered by seemed to be moving pretty quickly and doing plenty of interviewing
