Any DOL offers received yet?

Pretty sure that in past years they haven't made offers till after Thanksgiving. When I interviewed a few years back they said they'd try to make offers by Dec 1 but I think it was later than that.

I'm guessing that for DOL after the phone interview there's an in-person interview before an offer?

Depends. For HQ, there is only one interview. For regional offices, there are two.

Meaning they'll give you the job based on one phone interview? I have mine next week.

I'm the "I'm guessing" anon. That surprises me too. Also, I didn't indicate whether I wanted HQ or regional anywhere on my app, so I'm curious how that affects things.

I did about two weeks ago and they still hadn't notified anyone. I am definitely curious.

again: I got notified by DHS on October 18 when I applied a few years ago. These things take a while. Unless you have another offer and need to know the status of your application, just chill.

Yeah, they email you for the first round. It's about half an hour or so of very standard interview questions - why government, why DHS, tell us about yourself. That kind of thing. I didn't make it to the second round so can't comment on that.

Field office has informed me that HR at the National Office is sending out tentative offer letters so hopefully your wait won't be too much longer.

If I recall, each interviewer is responsible for contacting his or her interviewees rather than a centralized system.

Cool, bad thing is none of my references have told me they have been contacted, so doesn't look good. Time will tell I guess.

I received my initital offer verbally via a call from HR at the National Office a day after my callback interview at the field office, however, they told me I would be receiving a letter followup as well.

I have no idea if everyone receives a verbal first, or if some receive their initial offer via letter without any verbal notice.

To the person that mentioned they didn't contact your references, I wouldn't let that necessarily concern you, because none of my references were contacted as far as I know and I see them all the time so I feel certain they would have told me by now if they had been contacted.

DOL pretty much reviews apps on an on going basis so if you haven't gotten a call within a handful of weeks, I'd move on.

I was told recently that they're near the end of the interviewing process but that offers won't be going out for a long time.
