I got cb's to mayer and dechert, and I believe cb's have gone out to the others. silence is typically not a great sign (see: cadwalader rejection earlier today), but hopefully you have a different experience.

Sorry to hear that. Anything the rest of us can glean from your experience? Best of luck with your other CBs. And FYI: the tracker shows CB to offer ratio is less than 50% so a rejection is statistically bound to happen.

Any news on Milbank? It's been radio silence since Friday when they requested a copy of my transcript. Not sure what to make of it at this point. Is there anyone who has been dinged or did not receive a transcript request?

Got an offer today as well....I think every firm runs on a different schedule, but I imagine there will be some more offers this week and loads more in the weeks to come. Congrats & good luck to all!

Mine happened on the spot as the interview was coming to a wrap. They are sending a formal letter tomorrow, which will provide the deadline for acceptance. My guess (and hope) is that I can respond up until early September, as I have a callback somewhere else scheduled for late August & do not want to commit to any position until I know/can adequately weigh all options.

If you want, I can update you with how long I have once the formal letter comes tomorrow!

How are you guys handling thank you notes after CBs? I had a CB yesterday and their hiring committee apparently meets every Wednesday. Can't decide if a thank you note is worth the risk of sounding young and stupid. Thoughts?

not writing any. IMO, waste of time or only marginally beneficial, if not net neutral.
