They told me phone, video conference, or in person would be acceptable.Jessicaper wrote:Please let me know what you find out. They didn't indicate if the interview would be by phone or in person. Waiting to hear back.Anonymous User wrote:Have any of the HUD call backs been from the southern region? I'm wondering if they may be on a different time line- keeping my fingers crossed that this is the case.

Has anyone heard from DOL?
I sent them an updated application (originally applied back in July) on the last day the application period was open and they never replied to confirm they received it

I've heard nothing so far from DOL, but that just could be a lack of interest in me on their part.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone heard from DOL?

To whomever said postal service opens today, where do you see that? I don't see anything online anywhere.
And no one has had second round interview notices for DHS yet? I'm guessing I'm a ding since they said at the screener that final interviews would be early ish November, but maybe not?

Please visit www.usps.com/careers on or after October 29, 2015 to apply. The Postal Service no longer accepts applications that are submitted by mail. When applying for an advertised vacancy, all applicants are required to apply through our eCareer system located on our website.
A cover letter, writing sample, resume, and recent transcript are required.

It's my understanding that you get a call for an interview as soon as a couple of weeks after applying. If it's been more than that... Just stop thinking about it.Anonymous User wrote:I've heard nothing so far from DOL, but that just could be a lack of interest in me on their part.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone heard from DOL?

Anyone hear back from CFPB Legal- L&P after phone screener?Anonymous User wrote:FWIW, had a phone interview with CFPB Legal Division. Turns out Legal has 3 sub-groups, Law & Policy, Ethics & Oversight, and a litigation group, and apparently only law & policy is hiring honors attorney positions. Timeline is the same as for Enforcement, etc, in that they would do in-person interviews sometime end of this month or early next month, and hopefully notifications end of November to keep in line with DOJ hiring.

Nope, but heard through the grapevine that the pool of candidates is exceptional, and I believe they're only taking one honors attorney, so I think odds are low, at least for me.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear back from CFPB Legal- L&P after phone screener?Anonymous User wrote:FWIW, had a phone interview with CFPB Legal Division. CFPB callbacks for Legal, Enforcement and Supervision. I think they are starting to get things scheduled for the next couple of weeks.

Did any HUD interviewee ask how many people they are interviewing?
Or, alternatively, has there historically been a consistent ratio between spots and interviewees?

The HUD people I interviewed with said that they'd actually had a lower number of applications this year than in previous years, but no word on how many people were being interviewed or how many people would be accepted.

Anyone that interviewed with HUD, can you share whether the questions were difficult? Did they focus on past experience or general interview questions?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
