I did not get an offer on the spot, but the mechanics of the final round leads me to believe that it would be rare as you are kinda with the 1-3 other candidates.Anonymous User wrote:To anyone that had a Bronx 3rd Round with DA Johnson? Did you get an offer on the spot?

4 people are scheduled for the same 30 minute timeslot. You are in a "green room" situation with the other 3 right before you are called in for 5sh minutes and when you are finished you walk right by the people who haven't interviewed yet. I guess theoretically if you were the last candidate in the slot you wouldn't have an issue.
I wasn't expecting an offer on the spot anyway, because I did not get my official transcript mailed out in time.

Could anyone who's already had a 3rd round interview at BX DA's office describe their experience? what can one expect? It seems like some people get hypos/a lot of questions while others are only getting 5 minutes of background "getting to know you" stuff.

Re: District Attorney Offices 2016
My interview was really short probably 5-6 minutes. They asked me a few questions about my resume and why I wanted to be a DA. I met with Ms. Clark, Mr. Johnson, the head of appeals and Ms. Rivero. There were also two other candidates scheduled at my time slot. I was told to notify the office regarding any offers and to not bother to send a thank you note.Anonymous User wrote:Could anyone who's already had a 3rd round interview at BX DA's office describe their experience? what can one expect? To those that had Kings 3rd Rounds, how deep were you in with DANY and/or are you based out of town?

Based out of town - I had second-round DANY scheduled for the day after third-round Kings.Anonymous User wrote:To those that had Kings 3rd Rounds, how deep were you in with DANY and/or are you based out of town?
I had one hypo total at DANY. I know of other people who had more (I don't have exact numbers).I had my 2nd round panel interview with DANY and wasn't asked any hypos which was strange.

Anecdotally, they are still doing 2nd rounds. Personally, I did my 2nd in September, followed up because I kept advancing at other offices and was told that since I'm local I wouldn't be scheduled until December.

Ah yes. Another Monday, another week staring at my phone waiting for a "718" call to come in.
At least I have Queens 2nd Round coming up. Any tips? So far I've just seen be prepared for a hypothetical at that round and that they are likely hiring a tiny class this year.

Is anyone else 2nd round or later in Bronx, Kings, or Queens but never received a Manhattan screener?
Trying to gauge my chances at these offices. Finished Bronx rounds and am currently waiting for an offer/ding.
