Re: Bay Area Diversity Fair 2015
Does anyone know if there's hospitality suites at this fair? Or other than the welcome reception, an opportunity to kind of meet up/resume drop at firms other than the ones we're interviewing with? I feel like I heard somewhere that people in the past have had success with picking up extra interviews this way, but I'm not sure if that was from OCI/another fair...

Does anyone know if we get the name of the interviewers beforehand, and if so, when?

Does anyone know how fast callbacks/dings are expected to come after our interviews? How do people with OCI in very early August deal with callbacks here?

Does anyone know how to withdraw? I have two interviews and don't want to come from the Midwest for those firms.

For one of the interviews on my schedule, clicking on it will show me information including the name of my interviewer. Not all of the interviews will have this information though, I'm guessing because things are fluid for firms. You can email the administrator to ask if all interviewers' names will be sent out.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone know if we get the name of the interviewers beforehand, and if so, when?

I imagine you should email the administrator as soon as possible.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone know how to withdraw? I have two interviews and don't want to come from the Midwest for those firms.

Re: Bay Area Diversity Fair 2015
So I'm not sure if I read this in an old BADCF thread or a SFIPLA thread, but somewhere people spoke of being able to pick up extra screeners at the fair. As far as the info they're giving us now seems to say, there are no hospitality suites or opportunities to meet the recruiting people outside of the "informal" welcome reception, and the breakfast/lunch. Do you think any of those times would work to actually pick up a few extra interviews, or do they just serve as good face time with the employers you're already interviewing with? I know quite a few people who are dropping out, so it seems like there would be some open slots in the day...

Are you guys all doing the reception beforehand? I'm at Davis--close enough that I don't wanna do a hotel room, but still about a three hour round trip drive. I've only got one scheduled interview Saturday and I'm not even sure the firm will be represented at the cocktail reception; what are your guys' thoughts on if it would be worth going for me?

Did anyone else get an email from Jenny saying that she's looking forward to meeting you and that alternate acceptances have been added? I'm confused because I don't see any changes from before - it still says I didnt get any interviews.

Yes, and I think only a couple people will see any changes because only a few people gave up spots. My one scheduled interview didn't change, and I didn't get any extras. I think a couple people will see updates, but yeah if you didn't see anything I'm pretty sure they're already up.Anonymous User wrote:Did anyone else get an email from Jenny saying that she's looking forward to meeting you and that alternate acceptances have been added? Since the final schedule came today, I don't think any changes will be made. So whatever we see on the "scheduled interviews" tab is it.

Re: Bay Area Diversity Fair 2015
You can look at the BADCF 2014 thread. They actually had a realtime timeline update of cb's, dings, and offers from various firms. From the looks of it, regarding August OCI, if you don't get a cb within 2 weeks of the badcf, it's a rejection because firms have already gotten who they need and moved onto campus. If you do get a cb during those 2 weeks, it's way more random when you'll hear a ding or offer after that. http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 3&t=231950

Very exhausting. Some callbacks have started to go out, btw.

I am not the earlier anon, but I can confirm. I can be a bit more specific once a few more are released, but I don't want to be identified yet if it was only the one firm.
