It's for the Honors Program.

Finally some good news after all of those dings.
I got the same but they have not confirmed a scheduled interview for me yet.
I spoke to them this morning. They are working on getting schedule and travel times together. We should hear something next week. Should be fun going to Rockville during the last week's of school and final.
Same here. Did they tell you if they will book the flights or we have to independently look for flights?

Has anyone actually gotten an interview with State (or heard of anyone getting one)? Not sure how to interpret the radio silence...

Anyone heard from the FTC Competition Bureau? I interviewed on 10/31, said they would have a decision or let me know if they needed more time within a week. Still waiting. Anyone else interview?

I think they are booking the flights (or at least i hope as I am super broke). Have you heard anything yet? I'm still waiting to schedule of open dates.

Haven't heard anything at all from DHS since my initial interview in early October.

I interviewed in early october as well and I have not heard anything either :( . I couldn't take the silence so I e-mailed Alexandria Edwards -[didnt have the courage to email the person i interviewed with).... She told me that "Final interviews are occurring now, and final decisions will be made in December. All candidates will be notified of their status in January."

Interviewed with my local HUD office recently; they checked my references same-day. They said in years past decisions have been made as early as November, but realistically we can hope to hear back in in December, January at the latest.

Any second round interviews with DOL? Interviewed through OCI in August and was told that they hoped to get updates out by Thanksgiving or so.

I'm not actually sure they do second-round interviews. Also, I was told that if I wanted an update, I should initiate contact and check back in.

Has anyone heard from HUD offices on the Western side of the country?

I did. They invited me to DC the first week of December for an in-person interview on Thursday (11/13). It is all through their recruitment process, so I don't know if it means no more are going out :?

It was weird, though, because about a week after the phone interview (second interview for me), they asked for a writing sample and transcript because the hiring committee was going to be meeting to make "final hiring recommendations," and then a week or two later, I'm invited to an in-person DC interview? Maybe they are really undecided!

I just booked my flight for the first week of December. They are paying for flights and will reimburse for hotel costs.

Damn I had high hopes of getting past the second round, but I haven't heard back for an in-person interview. Although they did ask for a writing sample and transcript. I hope they're not done extending invites!

I feel your pain. The worst part with most of these agency honors programs is that you rarely get a rejection letter/email, so you just wait...
