Is there any way to know which are preselects?

^ There isn't unfortunately. Sometimes you can tell though. For example, I have one with a big NYC firm that I bid in the 40's, so I know that one is preselect, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it.

IP backbround: No
Significant work experience: sorta
Years out of undergrad: 2+

Other relevant factors (e.g., URM, LBGT, age/prior life experience, military): do lady parts count as a relevant factor?
Target markets: DC, Boston, CA
Type of work sought: Litigation
Self-assessed interviewing ability: normal? a tendency towards awkward laughs but I've got some social skillz
Screeners or callbacks prior to EIW from mass-mailing: 0
Screeners received for EIW: 18 (1-3, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14-17, 22, 24, 31, 36-39)

Heard of less than 10, but, yes, the average does seem to be quite high.

Sometimes, quality is more important than quantity.

For people out of top 1/3, it is safe to bid on firms with low GPA history, but firms with low GPA history is hard to get because tons of people will bid on it (most people are out of 1/3).

If a guy with less than 10 interviews, but each firm he will be interviewed is in his GPA range, I would say he has a higher chance getting callback than those who only bid on firms with less bidders (those firms normally have a higher GPA history).

Top third? Lol I'm pretty sure a lot of people at median and below have >10 interviews.

You have a valid point, but what you laugh at is not my point.

I was looking at last year's thread and many were able to pickup additional interviews. How do we go about this via symplicity? Or were they merely referring to trade and/or mass-mailing?

Hi there,
I am a transferring student who just unfortunately missed the EIW deadline, I haven't got the simplicity access yet, can anyone provide me a list of the employers coming to the EIW so I may be able to contact them see if they can offer me an interview?
I am really excited about attending GULC this coming fall but missing OCI is just terrible, I am trying my best to make it up.

Thanks for your help, best luck for all your guys interview!

I wondered if it is worth it if you miss EIW, especially if your original school offered you very generous financial aid.

Anyway, check out the web of EIW, it is there.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
