What's the assignment?

Due first thing monday or end of day Monday? Surprised they would explicitly have you work the first weekend (though all of us in your shoes probably would anyway even if you had till end of Monday).

That's true. I mean, the point is more to get a realistic experience and see how the associates actually carve out a work/life balance than just get a bunch of free food. The people who treat SA like vacation are probably often the ones most disenchanted by the real deal. IDK I don't mean to generalize.

Yeah, makes sense, since they told you to do it over the weekend and you aren't just showing up to be a weirdo.

Just a heads up for those planning to take no allowances on their withholding... I did that last summer and the IRS flagged my refund (probably because it's so big). I still haven't gotten it and filed my taxes in February. It's pretty much a nightmare, the IRS has "no idea" when it's coming. Meanwhile I'm totally out of money because my bar advance hasn't come in yet either. I'm not the only person this has happened to at my school either.

Don't be me. Claim all the allowances you can.

TYFT. Honestly, the IRS is too incompetent to trust with your well-deserved money. Just take the allowances.

Yup. Irrationally nervous given that I'm pretty sure all that's going to happen tomorrow is a bunch of introduction and orientation stuff.

Me too. I've been stress shopping for my first day outfit. I'm now up to three. 50% chance I go Joey and wear all of the clothes in my closet to work tomorrow AM.
