Proskauer LA and Willkie NY tonight. So lack of insta-callback from Willkie is apparently not a kiss of death.

I scheduled the callback via phone when they called me initially and got an email after that as well.Anonymous User wrote:Did either of y'all get an email from recruiting yet?Anonymous User wrote:That makes three of us.Anonymous User wrote:dittoAnonymous User wrote:Skadden DC via phone - LR grades

Yes. The email came fairly soon after the call. The email went to my spam folder for some reason. Check yours.Anonymous User wrote:Did either of y'all get an email from recruiting yet?Anonymous User wrote:That makes three of us.Anonymous User wrote:dittoAnonymous User wrote:Skadden DC via phone - LR grades

Re: UVa OGI Callback Thread
I'm a little worried too. Is this year more competitive than last year? 22 screeners so far for OGI; 1 CB for a below market firm; 3 dings. 5 NY, couple DC, mix of a few secondary markets. I have 2 or 3 interviews coming up, so I am mostly done.
Around 3.4 gpa with strong ties to these secondary markets. average interviewer with mix of interviews from very favorable comments to walking out feeling like I didn't get it.
Got rejected from my #1 recently
. And only 1 lottery, few alternates

Do firms expect you to drive to Philly from C'ville for a callback? I don't really have a way to get there by car... Is it appropriate to be up front and ask the recruiter about traveling via plane or train in my initial e-mail to him/her?

No. They will probably put you on a direct flight. When I called the travel agent was all apologetic because my return flight had a connection.Anonymous User wrote:Do firms expect you to drive to Philly from C'ville for a callback?
