Heard Freshfields CBs started going out this morning.

its getting to the point that its hard to walk into these OCIs with any confidence or hope.

Still have heard nothing from TX firms I interviewed with. I know LL did CB's and BB. But what about Bracewell, AK or HayBoo?

Based on what I heard about those interviews, I'm surprised they're even doing CBs.

Can someone who got BB from OCI confirm this? I heard the opposite, that they were waiting to finish TX schools before making CB decisions. There are some who got BB CBs from other screeners (i.e. job fairs).

Send career services your interview list and they will usually let you know which employers have or have not made callbacks yet (that they know of). On that note, if you have one you may want to let them know about it so they will be informed. Sometimes they hear from the firms, but sometimes they hear it from students.

Also,
- AK is doing their Univ. Texas OCI on Thursday.
- Bracewell has their Univ. of Houston OCI on Friday.
Both of those are big pulls for those firms so maybe cb's will come out after they are done.

Not KY specifically, but apparently a Birmingham recruiter said our OCI is extremely early.

Our OCI is early for the South, but for NY/DC/CHI, it's actually fairly late. Vandy Recruiting Season: The worst of both worlds!

Can confirm this. Know ppl at Vandy OCI who got a CB for BB....BUT, I've also heard that most firms (particularly in TX) are waiting with a few more CBs in-hand for post TX-schools' OCI.

Agreed. I won't say names but some are more incompetent than others. My advisor told me I was safe to bid on firms as long as i was within 0.1 of their GPA requirement. Definitely got plucked from some interview schedules.

Got my first cb reject today (from my home secondary market). This is looking ever more grim.

either vandy isn't strong as i thought or the economy is getting worse again. i'm really concerned at this point...i thought top 20% & LR would get at least some bites.

Are the anonymous posters on TLS the exception to the rule or the rule? I find it very discouraging that 95% of interviewers (or those posting here) are striking out completely. Was just wondering what the feel is on campus, and how many people are actually having success.

most people i've talked to seem to agree that the same few people at the tip top of the class are getting all the cbs.

I'm 40%ish + law review with no callbacks. I know people who definitely should have callbacks (like a dude who's 15%ish with 15 screeners and zero callbacks). A lot of other kids on LR with me have no callbacks.
