Same on all of that for me as well. It was the only interview of the week where I thought the interviewers were rude. I'm still waiting on about half of the firms, but I think almost all of them have given out callbacks to other people already. Pretty disappointing week for me.Anonymous User wrote:Same here on both counts. By far the worst interview I've had. Interviewers had no interest from the second I walked in the door.Anonymous User wrote:Email ding from Jones Day at UCLA. Knew that was coming, my interviewers were awful.

I'm at 7 callbacks so far (USC), and one e-mail ding from Irell. Anyone who hasn't gotten callbacks yet, don't fret too much: there will be more CBs as this goes on. No news is good news!

Waiting for an offer after the callback is the worst. Way worse than waiting for LSAT scores or 1L grades. Hopefully I get some good news before school starts. Otherwise, no way I can focus. Ahh.

Damn, no movement again.
Can't they at least send me a ding and end my misery already?

Any movement regarding the 3L OCI firms? I was able to set up 5 screeners and at least 3 went very well (or so I thought). And now, nothing.
Back to working on government applications I guess!

Re: USC / UCLA OCI 2012
what is the typical time-table for after callback hearing about an offer or not? i find it weird that they could make a decision within a week or two when other people are scheduled for their callbacks for still now until four weeks or so into the future.

Re: USC / UCLA OCI 2012
I really think there is no typical. Some firms do all their callbacks within a 2 week period so you may hear faster if they evaluate all the people from that week at the end of the week. Other firms are still doing screeners at some schools while they are doing CBs at others so that can be longer/more varied.Anonymous User wrote:what is the typical time-table for after callback hearing about an offer or not? i find it weird that they could make a decision within a week or two when other people are scheduled for their callbacks for still now until four weeks or so into the future.

I'm at USC. Bid on but didn't get Bryan Cave Irvine. Emailed them my materials and got an interview at their office; I was told it would last a couple hours and that they would email me a schedule of interviewers. Sounds almost like a callback interview without the screener?

I'm a transfer -- top 10% at my old school (ranked in the 60's) and have strong ties to OC.

8/9 have already been listed, and the other has a small class size for the particular office so I don't know how many CBs they've given. I'll post it tomorrowAnonymous User wrote:seconded. would be nice to know if you got cb's from some firms that haven't been listed.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:USC here. 9 CBs, ding from Irell and ding from White & Case.

At least one of the firms had a dinner reception that I wasn't invited to, but I got a CB anyway.

Re: USC / UCLA OCI 2012
why do people want to know about others' situations? it will just make it worse for you. this is why people don't speak about it while interviewing during OCI or after with classmates. just focus on your interviews, rock the callbacks, and not worry about others or whether a firm has already started giving callbacks but you did not get one (yet). relax people.
