CB @ Cole Schotz begins with chit chat with their recruiter, who gives you a tour and then takes you to the first interviewer. Each interviewer takes you to the next and, at some point, you will probably meet your screener.Anonymous User wrote:Can someone who had a CB w/ Cole SChotz please tell me what the interview was generally like? They don't reimburse for travel, right? Thanks a lot!Anonymous User wrote:They will make their first round decisions on October 10, when their hiring committee meets. You won't hear before then. Their starting salary is 120K.
As to the guy who struck out at Riker, your "near top 10%" isn't anything special coming from a NJ school. These firms in Jersey are "big law" if we're referring to the NJ market, and they try to act high and mighty as if they're from NY. This translates to excessive criteria standards that this shitty economy has contributed to boosting.

The kind that wants to do securities litigation in nj and make $120k a year? Was this a trick question? You must be a joy to be around IRL.

We'll see if I end up picking Jersey. There's one firm I have in play there I really like, and would definitely rather be there than NYC.androstan wrote:Managed to stay out of NJ and don't have to settle for some crappy secondary legal market.HeavenWood wrote:Please go on and regale us with your many achievements.androstan wrote:A better one than you or anyone on this board trying to go to TTT NJ.HeavenWood wrote: What jerb do you have broheim?

On the first - check your NALP. 55 lawyers in the Securities Lit practice.androstan wrote:lol they barely do securities litigation. Check you facts. On the second -

(I'm not working in NJ or at Bressler. I just think you're an asshole and I hope you enjoy getting no-offered because of your TTT personality)

I have friends at my greaterschoolthanyours who interviewed with Bressler Amery & Ross, so you should probably just give it up there.HeavenWood wrote:I'm also looking forward to the day you're no-offered.androstan wrote:Managed to stay out of NJ and don't have to settle for some crappy secondary legal market.HeavenWood wrote:Please go on and regale us with your many achievements.androstan wrote:

Actually if you check their NALP forms you would see that about 50% of their associates and partners are in this group. Also when I INTERVIEWED with them, they stressed that this was their strongest practice group. So you're a tool and an idiot. Congratsandrostan wrote:lol they barely do securities litigation. Actually, they mostly do arbitrations in FINRA. That is not litigation. I guess they forgot to teach you the difference at your TTT.Anonymous User wrote:Actually if you check their NALP forms you would see that about 50% of their associates and partners are in this group. Not at all. I have no interest working 80+ hour weeks to make a salary the COL equivalent of 5 figures in Philly/South Jersey.androstan wrote: Also offered at V30 NYC. Sorry brah. You mad?
