Cleary callback (voicemail). Interviewer WO. Also heard of another interviewer making calls (apologies, don't remember the initials, but it was a man I believe).

I would be curious to know if anyone gets a cb from Quinn who was not invited to their dinner tonight.
Odds not so good, eh?

Re: NYU EIW MADNESS 2012
By 2 days do you mean 2 days from the interview or the 2nd night after the interview? Seems like there are a lot of firms still pending from Wednesday. Or at least they haven't been announced on here.Anonymous User wrote:It takes 1-2 days 90% of the time I'd say. There's a small chance you could hear later, but it's quite unusual.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone have a sense of when we can assume we won't get a callback from someone, after calls for that firm start going out?
I want to make sure my level of anxt is appropriately high.

Apologies if this has been answered- but if an interviewer calls and leaves a message saying you're getting a callback and recruiting will be in touch to schedule- should you call back? No questions were asked, interview is scheduled.. but don't want to be rude!

Here is my advice as a 3L who went through this last year. At that point, no need to call them back. As long as you schedule the CB, you are set. And if you love the CB and really feel a good fit, then write back to interviewer giving an update or something.

Re: NYU EIW MADNESS 2012
This happened to me today. I just e-mailed the interviewer basically saying "hey, I got your message and scheduled my callback, really enjoyed meeting you and looking forward to visiting the firm on [date]." It seems impolite to me to just ignore the call, but I also wouldn't call back in case they're busy...Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Apologies if this has been answered- but if an interviewer calls and leaves a message saying you're getting a callback and recruiting will be in touch to schedule- should you call back? Oh, an email is fine. I was referring specifically to a phone call, which can be a bit more intrusive if at a bad time.Anonymous User wrote:This happened to me today. Tip from a 3L (I hope this reaches at least some of you before you're done today): go to every hospitality suite and pick up as much swag as possible. My biggest EIW regret was not stocking up on umbrellas.
