It was a flame. If he was dumb enough to post all these deets here (if it were true) knowing a firm could possibly see it, that means he was freaking out and needed comfort just to hear other peoples opinions. If he was no offered, hed be freaking out even more now and want to hear some more opinions on what to do next. If he got the offer, hed gloat. Either way he woulda been posting on here.

Couldn't really blame him/her if they decide not to post if it turned out to be a ding.

I mean, what purpose would updating the thread even serve? It's not like it would act as a learning experience to help educate others; who doesn't already understand the concept of "missing deadlines results in consequences"?

So, other than merely contributing to TLS's sense of Schadenfreude, what's his/her impetus to provide an outcome? Because some posters here are genuinely worried/care? Ha...
