I had what I thought was a good interview with Quinn SF and heard nothing about a dinner tonight.

I interviewed for NY -- went well enough, not amazing, not terrible, and I heard nothing as well.

Sorry, can't disclose that until I get a better feel for how many people were given CBs. Anyone know Mayer's CB/Offer ratio?

In before "OMFG why didn't I get a callback this guy I heard already got one and his interviewer had the same initials as mine and what's this about the Quinn dinner OMG I'm so worried why didn't I get a callback I'll never be employed OMG I hate this so much I'm gonna go add this Anchorage Alaska firm now"

Know they invited at least one NY applicant to the dinner, and they seem to have pre-selected the person based on resume.

I hear the Anchorage market is pretty strong right now.

Anchorage has recovered a lot faster than Fairbanks.

Friend went to the Quinn Emanuel sp? dinner. She said that the dinner was for everyone getting callbacks, and that all of their offices were represented.

I'm sure many people thought this and lost sleep over not being invited to the mysterious Quinn dinner. Here's what the NYU OCI thread said about the QE dinner:
