How do they typically get in contact with you? Are any of them sending offers to interview, etc. via snail mail?
I'm just wondering because I've been having some mail problems at my apt and I don't want to be missing important mail.

I'm thrilled, loved everyone I met. And a gorgeous office, to boot. UT, top 15%, secondary journal. Really clicked with my interviewers.chadwick218 wrote:I have a friend who worked hear two years ago. Journal? Are you a 2L or does UT allow 1Ls into journals?
Either way congrats.

Anyone hear back from HB yet? I interviewed over Winter Break for Fast Track. I believe they said that they were going to be doing some on-campus receptions but haven't heard anything about them yet.

Won't be making offers until March. They sent me an invitation this week for a dinner on March 8th in NYC.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear back from HB yet? Does it seem like that the class sizes at the firms in Texas (1L's and 2L's) is smaller than in past years (at least compared to 2009)?
I wonder if the firms are doing this so that they can make offers to most or all of their classes after this summer instead of no-offering a ton of their SA's like Fulbright in Dallas did in 2009 (half of 2L's were no offered after the summer) and Andrews Kurth in Dallas and Austin (75% did not receive permanent offers after their SA summer).

Re: TX 1L Biglaw SA Interview Timetable
Firms have certainly lowered their class sizes and this appears to be a trend that will likely continue into the foreseeable future. I think that this is a factor of both the marketplace and the desire to keep offer-rates as high as possible.Anonymous User wrote:Does it seem like that the class sizes at the firms in Texas (1L's and 2L's) is smaller than in past years (at least compared to 2009)?

For the record, only 66% of AK's class was no-offered in Dallas in 2009 and everyone received an offer in Austin.

Has anyone heard about the V&E Diversity Fellowships? I haven't gotten a rejection yet but I see on the information that they will choose the fellows by end of February.
